Reading about the sizes of fabric to cut, i go for inserts that are 16in x16in so i generaly cut my cushion front at a 42cm x42cm and the envelope backs 42cm x 35cm. Does this sound right to you. The cushions do look lovely. But like to check what im doing is correct thank you xx

Introduce Yourself / Hello
« on: February 10, 2018, 05:23:28 AM »
Hello everyone, sorry i didn't introduce myself properly when i first registered but just so busy lol, anyway I have mainly self taught to do sewing even though i did do a distance learning fashion course but didn't find it that great, I have only got into sewing properly this past few weeks and starting with cushions. I also like to knit and been doing this on and off for about 5 years, im not a quick knitter but have made some lovely jumpers, cardigans and toys for the grandchildren, My husband makes his own different flavoured jams and sweet chilli tomotoe sauce and which he sells, we also grow our own fruit and veg and have 11 chickens, so with our full time work we are always on the go but wouldn't have it any other way. Right I let you all get back to your day and chat soon
